2020 Vauxhall Adam is a city car designed and manufactured by German carmaker Vauxhall and is named after the founder of the company Adam Opel. Adam Vauxhall topped a new range of Vauxhalls that have so far culminated in the brilliant new Astra. A perfect match is the 1.0-liter gasoline engine, which builds the right performance with low-cost driving, a pleasant sound, and a weight reduction that makes the car feel more agile.
In fact, it’s more than a match for the engines found in the sleek Mini. The interior of Vauxhall Adam can reasonably be described as its best feature. An IntelliLink infotainment system is an option across the range, but it is highly recommended to specify it. It is one of the most advanced systems among supermini rivals and comes along with the usual Bluetooth phone connectivity, USB slot, CD player and DAB digital radio, with a feature that mirrors the display of your phone on the touch screen of infotainment.
You can also use a host of apps for things like sat-nav and streaming. IntelliLink comes as part of the Tech Package, which also includes an upgraded six-speaker stereo sensor and rear parking. You will need the help of parking because the rear visibility is quite poor compared to the excellent view you get in front. The interior of Vauxhall Adam can reasonably be described as its best feature. Big in color and personality, it feels reasonably constructed and can be personalized to be the way you want it.
2020 Vauxhall Adam Interior
The Adam feels like a bigger car, the head, legs, and elbow room are not in a short position and both front seats slide too far back to provide plenty of space for the extra legroom. As you can imagine, the same thing is not true in the back. First things first, Vauxhall is only available with three doors, so internet access is the initial issue you are facing. Once you have successfully squeezed the front, you will find a backbench clamped to the head and legs, but the elbow room is in order because it is only designed for two people.
Internal storage is quite good. Adam’s glove is larger than its main rivals, the car door pockets are large enough for water bottles, there are smaller trays for items like your wallet and phone, plus you also get a couple of lockers in the front and a small pairs of storage bins in the back. No one expects a small car to be particularly practical, but with its 170-liter boot, Adam’s luggage capacity drops more than smaller rivals such as the VW Up. Its rival VW has a 251-liter capacity and an adjustable floor that makes loading easy while Adam has none of them.
2020 Vauxhall Adam Engine
2020 Vauxhall Adam come in are two modern 1.4-liter petrol engines with 86 hp and 98 hp. Both offer mpg fuel efficiency in the mid-50s and good performance. Three-cylinder gasoline with a 1.0-liter turbo cylinder was released a little later in Adam’s life. Feels alive and eager to move Vauxhall Adam around. Also she also angrier than the 1.0-liter Ford Ecoboost, which removes some of the characteristic three-cylinder batteries but also makes the little Adam quiet on the highway. Available only on the expensive Adam Rocks S is the 1.4-liter turbocharged version. Produces 150 hp for inspired acceleration from 0-62mph in 8.5 seconds.
2020 Vauxhall Adam Safety
Adam achieved only a four-star result in the Euro NCAP crash tests, while rivals Audi A1 and DS 3 luggage five full stars. Adam scored best for the safety of adult residents but was scored for only marginal defense against the whip in a back kick. The standard safety kit includes six airbags and technologies to help prevent landslides, as well as a hill holding assistance to make starting hills safer. 2020 Vauxhall Adam lacks some active-safety features like autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and lane-keeping assistance, which can improve its assessment.
