Suzuki Sx4
The Suzuki Sx4 is a compact car developed jointly by Japanese automaker Suzuki and Italian automaker Fiat. In some European markets this sx4 is sold as the Fiat Carens, and other Asian markets as Maruti Suzuki Sx4. It was designed by Italdesign Giugiaro studio Giorgetto Giugiaro and has been produced since 2006. Though originally only in Europe, the sx4 sold most of Suzuki’s international markets. Is available in hatchback and, in some markets, the sedan body. Especially in the version of the hatchback, sx4 occupies a special niche market Mini SUV crossovers. Depending on the market, available with petrol engines in the range 1.5-2.0 liter, and Fiat’s 1.3-2.0 liter range diesel engine. The hatchback is available with four-wheel drive. The Suzuki Sx4 running in the 2007 and 2008 seasons of the World Rally Championship, the Suzuki World Rally Team, but the company withdrew from the race.
Suzuki Sx4 First Generation (2006-present)
The Suzuki sx4 continues the tradition of small SUVs, such as the SJ, the Jimny, and Recuerdos. It was introduced in Japan on December 1, 2005, and of the world at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. Designed by Italdesign studio Giorgetto Giugiaro, the sx4 (an abbreviation of “Sports X-over 4 all seasons’) replaces the Suzuki Aerio.” CA / 4 “designation previously used (1981-83) by American Motors (AMC) for a glance liftback model in all-wheel drive AMC Eagle passengers and their vehicles.
Though originally only in the European market, the sx4 sold most of Suzuki’s international markets. Fall within Japanese regulations concerning vehicle external dimensions and engine displacement for a car classified as a compact. It is manufactured at the Magyar Suzuki plant in Esztergom, Hungary; Manesar, India; and Sagara, Japan. An expected 60,000 units were produced 2/3 to be purchased Suzuki and 1/3 by Fiat, badged as the Carens. sx4 crossover has been sold in Indonesia since 2007. Earlier models were directly imported from Japan (Completely Built-up / CBU), however locally-assembled versions through the year to meet the higher-than-expected demand the market. Ke equipped with some new features, including 4-wheel disc brakes and the Multi Information Display locally-assembled versions.
The sx4 2010 model includes changes to the grille, the taillights, instrument cluster, climate controls and door trim, and the cargo hold, remove the fold-up rear seats in favor of an ‘arena seating’ raised rear seat layout. Non-ships of all-wheel drive models add new rear skid plate. A new model SportBack offers a lowered sport-tuned suspension, body kit, rear spoiler, and remove the roof rack.
Suzuki Sx4 Second Generation (2013-present)

The Suzuki Sx4 S-Cross will not be available in the US or Canada from Suzuki withdrawn from the market, but it is offered in Brazil and Mexico. It is set to launch in India in 2015 and has been spied testing.
Suzuki Sx4 Motorsport
At the 2007 Geneva Motor Show, Suzuki announced plans to enter the Fia World Rally Championship, with factory backed Suzuki World Rally Team in the World Rally Car in 2007, using the WRC sx4 and awd and the J20 engine that produces 320 hp (239 kW; 324 PS) and 590 N · m (440 lb · ft) of torque. However due to WRC calendar changes Suzuki officially debuted in 2008, using the 2007 season as the further development of the Suzuki Sx4. The Suzuki Sx4 running two 2007 WRC events each test: the Rally de France in October 2007 (finishing 31 overall) and the Rally GB in November 2007. In the first event in 2008, the Rally Monte Carlo, Suzuki driver Per-Gunnar Andersson finished 8th. Nobuhiro Tajima’s Suzuki Sx4 during his record breaking 9:51 run in 2011Race car called the’Suzuki Sx4 Hill Climb Special was used at the 2011 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. It was specially adapted Suzuki Sx4 with a twin turbocharged 3.1 L V6 engine producing 910 hp (679 kW; 923 PS) and 890 N · m (660 lb · ft) of torque.
