The 2012 Mazda5 has been completely redesigned from the wheels up with a whole new design and the new interior also. With its sliding and captain’s chair seats second side doors, the Mazda5 retains many of the elements that you would normally find in a minivan, but with a much smaller structure. In the front there is a large portion of the current Mazda design language and curved folds before fleeing back to complete the look.

The 2012 Mazda5  engine has also been updated. Power comes from a 157-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that is mated to a six-speed manual transmission or five-speed automatic transmission. This may seem little energy compared to other companies of the people, but keep in mind that the Mazda5 is actually more aligned with crossovers and hatchbacks and that makes more sense. 2012 Mazda5 fuel economy ratings are 21 mpg/city and the 28 mpg/highway respectively, regardless of choice of transmission.

Inside, the 2012 Mazda5 seats six passengers across three rows. The configuration of two occupants-per-row helps ensure that if you are in the first row or the third party will have plenty of space. Standard features include automatic air conditioning, cruise control, auxiliary audio input, audio controls on the steering wheel, and a tilt/telescoping steering wheel. The Mazda5 also be arranged with most Bluetooth ® connectivity, heated front seats, sunroof, and leather upholstery.
