Performance-oriented performance AMG S63 has a variant of the 4.0-liter V-8 that makes 603hp, while the AMG S65 has a 12-hp V21 like the S650. All S450, S560, and AMG S63 come with a nine-speed automatic transmission, and the Maybach S650 and AMG S65 use a seven-speed automatic. 2020 S560e hybrid plug-in is also offered.
