2020 Kia Seltos
The 2020 Kia Seltos is a subcompact SUV built by Kia Motors. The 2020 Kia Seltos is the newest addition to Kia’s small-speed SUV formation that is growing rapidly. It’s a little longer than Sia and Kia but not as big or as expensive as Sportage. The base LX and S models offer a lot of benefits for relatively little money, but It’s suggested you go with the medium EX model. Kia Seltos offers standard features such as glowing seats, blind-spot monitoring, and keyless ignition as well as a standard all-wheel-drive car. Kia Seltos 2020 is available in five trim levels: LX, S, S Turbo, EX, and SX.
All of 2020 Kia Selto’s models will have a touch screen infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, but the 10.3-inch optional unit is what you’ll get. It offers navigation and the ability to split the screen so you can view the map and directions at the same time as you are making changes to the radio station. Depending on the model you choose, the Seltos can also be equipped with a pad for charging the wireless smartphone, up to three USB ports, ahead of screen, and a 7.0-inch color screen in the gauge group. An audio system with an eight-speaker Bose speaker will also be optional and features speakers with textural textures.
2020 Kia Seltos Interior
Inside, 2020 Seltos offers significantly more space for people and cargo than Kona, and the materials used throughout the cabin are selected and refined as they should look at home in the exhibition hall next to the brand’s excellent Telluride SUV. Indoor lighting is standard on the upscale SX model and can be set to pulse along with the music as the system that Kia offers in the smaller Soul SUV. We didn’t have a Seltos for rehearsal, but during our rehearsal in Korea, the cargo area easily swallowed suitcases, backpacks, and photo bags.
2020 Kia Seltos Engine
Kia offers two different four-cylinder engines in Seltos: a 2.0-liter that produces 146 horsepower or a 1.6-liter turbocharged that pumps 175. In the test, the Selto with turbocharged 1.6-liter in Korea and found its power to be more than appropriate. While the base engine is mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), the turbo comes with a seven-speed automatic. The all-wheel-drive car is optional with both engines.
The EPA estimates that Seltos will provide quite efficient MPG figures, which is surprising as it shares the mechanisms with Kona. The fuel economy on the highway is estimated to be as high as 34 mpg for the two-wheeled 2.0-liter four-cylinder models. On our 200-kilometer fuel economy test road on the highway, a 2.0-liter all-wheel-drive Kona car turned 33 mpg; a 1.6-liter front-wheel-drive model managed 34 mpg.
2020 Kia Seltos Safety
Neither the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor the Highway Safety Insurance Institute (IIHS) has released test results for the 2020 Kia Seltos collision. Key safety features include blind-spot monitoring with signaling. of rear traffic, emergency braking automation with pedestrian detection, and lane departure warning with lane-keeping assistance. Kia is offering a comprehensive driver assistance technology suite in Seltos, but it seems to be an optional package rather than a standard 2020 Kia Seltos series of features like rivals like the Toyota C-HR and Nissan Kicks.
