The 2014 Jeep Patriot combines with its platform mate, the beat, to form the most affordable couple of vehicles in the Jeep lineup. The Patriot offers great value and a retro style Jeep. Instead of the elegant exterior appearance that Jeep has gone lately, the latest Jeep Patriot models invokes looking a bit like a box with wheels. While the Jeep compass looks like a smaller version of the new Grand Cherokee, the Patriot looks like the previous version of the 90 with square faces and sharp creases. The 2014 Jeep Patriot also gets front grille, standard steel wheels 16-inch, halogen headlamps with round fog lamps and large mirrors classic black jeep.

The 2014 Jeep Patriot  interior is similar to the outside, adjusted and easy. There are plenty of soft-touch surfaces, the radio/CD, air conditioning, and ample cargo space. The cloth seats and 60/40 folding rear seats are also standard. The several options are available, including the Boston Acoustics stereo with Uconnect, Bluetooth hands-free connectivity, satellite navigation, leather seats and the multifunction steering wheel. It also has a pair of flip -down speakers in the tailgate, a great addition to barbecues and parties.

2014 Jeep Patriot Engine

The Patriot 2014 offers options identical to the 2013 model engine. The base engine is a 158-horsepower, 2.0-liter four -cylinder with 141 pounds-feet of torque, paired with a five-speed manual transmission or the CVT. The more powerful 172 horsepower, 2.4 liter four -cylinder that makes 165 pounds -feet of torque is also available and comes with the same transmission options. The Patriot comes in front-wheel drive standard, but as expected, a couple of systems of four-wheel drive are optional.

The most robust drive system on all four wheels, even helps the P2014 Jeep Patriot to win the nomination “Trail Rated”, despite moving on a platform crossover. Fuel economy varies based on options Engine/Drivetrain, but expect 2014 Jeep Patriot to return 20-23 mpg city and 23-30 mpg on the road that put him firmly in the center of the segment compact SUV.

2014 Jeep Patriot Safety

The Patriot performed well in crash tests, earning an IIHS Top Safety Pick award. It comes standard with four airbags, traction control, the anti-lock disc brakes, the electronic roll mitigation, and the  integrated deformation zones. 2014 Jeep Patriot  available safety features include front side-impact airbags and hill descent assists.
