The 2014 Jeep Compass gets a few updates for the new model year and is still just as comfortable on the road as it is off road. Jeep has not released official fuel economy figures for the new gearbox, but have said that there should be a drop between the two. The 2014 Jeep Compass comes with standard front-wheel drive, but can also be a formidable SUV with two drive systems in the four optional wheels, the second of which becomes a compass Rating-trail terrain. Freedom Drive II still uses the CVT for the highest end relationship. Depending on the engine/transmission combination, the compass returns 20-23 mpg city and 23-30 mpg on the highway.
