Cadillac STS-V
The Cadillac STS-V is an executive car high performance V-Series produced in a single generation since 2005 (MY 2006) by Cadillac. The Cadillac STS-V debuted with an acceleration time from 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds and 5.1 seconds without deployment deployment. The Cadillac STS-V was introduced at the 2005 Detroit Auto Show. It was available for sale in 2005.
Cadillac STS-V Specification
The Cadillac STS-V sports a supercharged 4.4 L Northstar V8 version, certified by the SAE to produce 469 horsepower (350 kW) and 439 lb · ft (595 N · m) motor. This engine is mated to an automatic transmission adjustable driver with two modes of travel, larger Brembo brakes, 10-spoke higher alloy wheels (18 versus “x8.5”, 19 “x9.5” post) run-flat tires Pirelli, a relationship quicker steering and a stiffer suspension than the standard Cadillac STS. The heads of the engine block and cylinder are made of aluminum, the camshafts are made of cast iron and forged steel crankshaft. The suspension is fully independent and there are four settings for the system traction control and stability control. Moreover, different from standard Cadillac STS, the Cadillac STS-V has an oil cooler for the rear differential at the bottom of the car behind the third member.
Cadillac STS-V Appearance
Primary Cadillac STS-V standard Cadillac TS visual difference was a wire mesh grille and hood “power-dome”. In addition to the grid, the differences include the front bumper, fog light and turning signal cluster, and the bell is slightly curved to fit over the supercharger. At the rear, the bumper is different from standard Cadillac STS and includes an insert wire mesh at the bottom that is made of the same mesh material used in the front grille. The rear wing is higher and broader, encompassing the third brake light.
For the interior, the Cadillac STS-V has also improved fit leather and suede contracted with the German company Dräxlmaier, which includes credit before the Maybach 57/62. Options ebony interior colors were gray, both of which are offered in standard Cadillac STS as well, and a two-tone scheme Ebony/Tango Red, which is unique to the mission Cadillac STS-V.
