On October 7, 2013, Cadillac introduced the fourth generation Cadillac Escalade and Cadillac Escalade ESV at an event in New York City full of stars, only about a month after GM announced its next-generation SUVs Chevrolet and GMC. The Cadillac began its campaign to promote the Cadillac Escalade on 14 August 2013, and began to publish teasers online on September 23, 2013, with the help of photographer Autumn de Wilde, who helped reveal more images before the inauguration. A page of YouTube called “Escalade Reveal” was created to show the videos with the countdown to unveiling.
On November 25, 2013, Cadillac began to spread word of mouth about the 2015 Cadillac Escalade placing a cut facsimile front of the vehicle on display at the flagship store in New York City Fifth Avenue Sak during his promotional campaign annual Christmas, showing the SUV being frozen in secret.
The Cadillac Escalade began production in January 2014 at the assembly plant in Arlington, Texas GM and went on sale in April 2014 as a 2015 model (with the MRSP from around $71,000 for full size, $74,000 for VTS), and is available in only three settings: Base, Luxury and Premium. International sales are scheduled to begin in the summer of 2014. They are assigned to the platform as K2XL K2XX GMT.
