The 2015 Cadillac SRX is a compact luxury crossover SUV available in four trim levels: Base, the Luxury, Performance and Premium. The 2015 Cadillac SRX basic model comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, the heated mirrors, the keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, leatherette upholstery, a seat of power driver’s position, a split folding 60/40 reclining rear seat, cruise control and a tilt and telescoping leather-wrapped steering wheel. The 2015 Cadillac SRX interface electronics CUE with 8-inch screen is also standard, as is OnStar in-car WiFi (4G LTE), Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, and an 8-speaker Bose sound system with DVD CD, satellite and HD radio, a USB port and an auxiliary audio jack.

Luxury setting adds keyless ignition and entry, a warning system of blind spots, front and rear parking sensors, power folding mirrors , a system of cross traffic alert rear camera, rearview, automatic wipers, a panoramic sunroof and a power liftgate with adjustable opening height. Inside, there is leather, adjustable thigh support for the driver’s seat, power passenger seat 8-way, heated front seats and steering wheel, driver memory functions, the power-adjustable pedals, a control system of improved temperature, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, accent lighting and a cargo management system load. A system of voice-activated navigation and 10-speaker Bose surround-sound audio are optional.

These options are standard on performance tuning, which also adds alloy wheels of 20 inches, a sport suspension, adaptive dampers, variable-effort power steering, the adaptive xenon headlamps and fog lamps. Optional equipment levels of luxury and performance is the driver assistance package, which includes the adaptive cruise control, automatic collision preparation and the automatic braking. Packet driver awareness, which includes departure warning systems forward collision and lane, automatic high beams and driver’s seat safety alert is also available. The top-of-the-line part 2015 Cadillac SRX Premium Package adds driver awareness standard, along with control of 3 climate zones, ventilated, the heated rear seats and audio controls in the rear seat front seats. A towing package and an entertainment system for rear seat screens mounted in double backups are available on all but the base model.

The 2015 Cadillac SRX Interior has a high quality look and feel, and all is well together for the most part. We want some of the wood trim did not look as polished, but the overall impression is an excellent mix of technology meets luxury. Reactions to the inputs via the touch screen or physical buttons can be slow or sometimes completely lost. Perhaps worst of all, the menu structure of the display is not intuitive. In general, we prefer other electronic interfaces in this segment.

The 2015 Cadillac SRX offers ample space for four adults, its although headroom is comfortable in back seat, especially when panoramic sunroof is in place. The cargo space average uptp 30 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 61 cubic feet with two sections of the backrests of the rear seats 60/40 split-folded.

Each model 2015 Cadillac SRX is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 that produce 308 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. The six-speed automatic is only transmission offered. The front-wheel drive is standard, but the all-wheel drive is also available for all trim levels other than Base. The 2015 Cadillac SRX comes standard with antilock disc brakes, stability and the traction control, front side air-bags and the side curtain airbags. The OnStar system includes the automatic collision notification, roadside assistance on demand, the remote door unlock, stolen vehicle assistance and turn-by-turn navigation. Front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera, blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert include starting at the level of luxury equipment.

Package awareness of drivers optional adds forward collision warning, lane departure warning and the driver seat safety alert. The last vibrates on the left or right side of the seat bottom, based on direction from which a potential danger looms. The optional Driver Assist package features automatic collision preparation and automatic braking, both at the time of going forward and reverse.
