The 2013 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon is a midsize car for five passengers available in four trim levels: Base 3.0, 3.0 Luxury, Performance 3.6 and 3.6 premium. The 2013 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon 3.0 Luxury adds extra sound insulation, electric heated front seats with eight-way, leather upholstery, the memory controller features a wood-trimmed steering wheel, six-CD changer and Level One Luxury package, which includes a rearview camera, automatic wipers, a network of pets, a load deck and interior accent lighting.
The 2013 Cadillac CTS Touring Package includes a different grille, a knob leather / faux suede steering wheel and shift, another special interior trim and performance package that includes 18-inch wheels, a sport suspension (dubbed FE2) headlights xenon and fog lamps. Upgraded brakes and a limited slip differential are included in this package on cars with AWD. The 2013 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon 3.6 Performance adjustment is equipped essentially as a luxury 3.0 with performance package. Needless to luxury levels one items, but adds a more powerful motor and a 10-speaker Bose audio system with surround sound digital music storage and USB / iPod audio.
The Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon Luxury Performance Package 2013 includes the luxury level one items, and rear parking sensors, keyless ignition / entry, heated and ventilated front seats, the split folding rear seat, power adjustable steering wheel and a deodorant cabin. As its name suggests, the package performance summer tires 19 inch models available in both 3.6 includes 19-inch wheels, summer tires, Xenon headlights, a cooling system performance, a sportier suspension (dubbed FE3) upgraded brakes, a limited slip differential, fogli-fights and shift paddles on the steering wheel. This team is the same regardless of whether the car is rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
2013 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon Interior
Inside the cabin, the 2013 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon has a nice angle issue at the height of its foreign nervousness. Soft-touch materials abound, and are accented by wooden details tasteful. The optional navigation system emerges from the top of the board and retracts almost completely, leaving the small section visible as a touchscreen for the audio system – is a smart alternative and elegant solution having a separate control panel. Its also appreciate that Cadillac offers a redundant button to scroll through menus iPod or satellite radio control.
Unfortunately, the 2013 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon Interior also comes with a lot of defects. Many are uncomfortable driving position due to slightly offset pedals, low mounted seat and knee room in danger due to the sweeping center console. Overall comfort is also hampered by flat and stiff backs. The room inside general, however, is quite good and better than most competing models, but access to the rear seat can be a bit tricky due to a low roofline. Outward visibility to the rear is poor.
The load capacity is obviously important with a cart, and 2013 Cadillac CTS offers a generous 25 cubic feet with the rear seats raised and 58 cubic feet with the lowered. This is more than the Audi Allroad and only slightly less than most compact luxury crossovers.
2013 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon Engine
All 2013 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon comes standard with a rear drive wheel and six-speed automatic, but all-wheel drive is optional. 3.0 models come with a 3.0-liter V6 that produces 270 horsepower and 223 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy is EPA-estimated 18 highway mpg city / 26 mpg and 21 mpg combined regardless of whether the car is rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. 3.6 models get a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 318 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. The estimated fuel economy by the EPA is identical to 3.0-liter V6.
2013 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon Safety
The standard safety features 2013 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon include antilock disc brakes, front active headrests, traction and stability control, side airbags in the front seats and full-length side curtain airbags. In brake testing, the 2013 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon 3.6 tires summer FE2 suspension and came to a stop from 60 mph in 118 feet. That’s actually a couple of longer than average for a car with summer tires meters, but still a respectable distance. All-season tires theoretically make braking distance even longer.
