The 2014 Buick Encore is available in 4 trim levels: Base, Convenience, Leather and Premium.  The 2014 Buick Encore basis comes standard with 18-inch wheels painted rims, heated side mirrors, air conditioning, the cruise control, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, full power accessories, power driver seat six-way (manual recline), Bluetooth phone and the audio connectivity, rear view camera, split folding rear seats, a fold-flat front seat passenger, OnStar telematics system and a six-speaker sound system with CD player, satellite radio, USB / iPod interface and an auxiliary audio jack. Interface Buick IntelliLink control, which has a 7-inch touch screen and integrated smartphone applications are also included.Enhanced convenience adds fog lamps, a system of blind spot monitoring with the rear cross-traffic alert, remote start, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power of 120 volts and an auto-dimming rear view mirror.

As expected, the level of equipment leather adds leather upholstery for the front seats, driver’s seat with lumbar support, electrically adjustable, power passenger seat with six positions, heated front seats, a configuration of the steering wheel memory and heated driver. The 2014 Buick Encore premium adds rain-sensing wipers, Bose sound system with seven speakers improved sensors, front and rear parking system forward collision warning, a warning system lane change and a rear cargo net and mat. The cargo net / mat is optional on all lower trims, while the Bose audio is also available in the levels of Convenience and leather upholstery. Others option depending on the trim level, include chrome wheels, power sunroof, a navigation system and roof cross rails.

2014 Buick Encore Interior

The fit and finish throughout the cabin of the 2014 Buick Encore is generally pretty good, and splashing soft touch materials properly placed and simulated wood accents and metallic provice a stylish look. This is more capacity than the Mini Countryman deals (42.2 cubic feet), but considerably less than that obtained from the next-size-up compact crossovers like the Honda CR-V, which offers comparatively cavernous 71 cubic feet.

2014 Buick Encore Engine

All 2014 Buick Encore models are powered by an inline four-cylinder 1.4-liter turbocharged engine rated 138 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic with manual shift feature is the only transmission offered here, but all versions of Encore give you the option of front-or all-wheel drive.  Receiver front-wheel drive fuel Encores estimated 25 mpg city / 33 mpg highway and 28 mpg combined, while those 23/30/26 with all-wheel drive rate. In performance testing, a front-wheel-drive accelerated to 60 mph in 9.8 seconds Encore, which is slower than most other crossovers in this price range.

2014 Buick Encore Safety

The 2014 Buick Encore standard safety features for the 2014 Buick Encore front seat airbags including knee, front and rear side airbags, side curtain airbags, a rear view camera, anti-lock disc brakes and traction control and stability. Also included is OnStar, which includes automatic collision notification, on demand, the roadside assistance, remote door unlock and the stolen vehicle assistance.  System Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert is available on the level of convenience in setting up, while warning systems Collision Warning and Lane Departure forward are standard on the Encore Premium.
