The 2019 Bugatti Chiron is the fastest, most exclusive and expensive car in the world. Bugatti Chiron 2019 is part of the Volkswagen group and Bugatti sits on top of the VW group’s pyramid. If you imagine Skoda is in the end, the big value suppliers, ‘just wise’ family cars with unquestioned practice and cost of ownership envy – well, Chiron is the opposite of that. Bugatti Chiron 2019 is a two-seater carbon, with a motorcycle in the middle of it, behind the cabin. There is an ultra-strong passenger cell, plus a carbon trolley that covers its upper part.
Also in the sphere of hypercars, Chiron is quite fast, like its predecessor, Veyron, when it was introduced in 2005 and became the fastest manufacturing car in the world. The acceleration and maximum speed of Chiron are similar, today, beyond its competitors’ domains: it can range from 0-62mph to 2.5sec and is electronically limited to 261mph. The Bugatti 2019 Chiron came to sales at a time when there was a little direct competitor. Koenigsegg and Pagani sell the cars closest to him: Ferrari LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder and McLaren P1 were all out of the sale at the time of Chiron’s arrival.
2019 Bugatti Chiron Interior
Bugatti boasts the fact that Chiron is ergonomically as soundly as any other VW product, so it should not be surprising to find that it’s relatively easy to get in and out. There are conventional doors, not scissors or dihedral ones as you will find in some rivals. And as soon as you are inside, you will understand that the driving position is good. The places are electrically adjustable and although they are not extensive, they are supported with perfection. The steering wheel fits to reach and the lid through a wide range and the dials behind it are clear analogs. Bugatti has resisted the VW band trend in terms of digital dials because he likes to think that in 50 years when Chiron is on a car show and the kids are watching through the window to see what they will do, they will read that there is a speed at speeds of 500kph or 300mph.
The look from within is less impressive. Chiron is a wide car, in more than 2.0 meters and it is difficult to see the limbs. The rear view is not aided by the installation of a large light bulb, the largest in the industry, which apparently sits inwardly in a heat shine, and certainly enhances a “cockpit” feel with two layers, but also hampers the appearance the back.
Surfaces are finished in excellent quality leather or aluminum, there is a lack of plastic and where a material looks like a certain material, you may be that the material. But because the weight reduction is on a high level, the skin does not rise above soft foam surfaces, leaving Chiron quite loud. When it comes to infotainment, there is a stereo system and only a travel computer. Sound quality is good, but hi-fi requires data from a mobile device. This saves Bugatti by adjusting a screen that may seem too cheap in a 2.5 million pound drive and says owners apparently prefer it this way.
2019 Bugatti Chiron Exterior
Chiron’s dull keys, which are quite small and have a rectangular shape, were replaced by much larger openings. This new bumper ensures greater lift and sends more air to the brakes. More vents can be seen on the front cover, as well as between the V-shaped cover and the fender. The latter also sports louvers on wheels, just like a complete racing car. The trademark element C created from the roof, the rear fenders, and the sides of the door around the doorway were dramatically revised. It’s still there, but it is far smaller and includes only the upper half of the door. Below, the side edges carry large vertical fins on the front and new air intakes on the back. The rear fenders were also revised, while the rear and back covers look shorter. Bugatti also created special wheels, light for Divo.
The Divo roof is designed to form a NACA air channel. In combination with the engine cover, the apex helps to send a very high flow of air to the drivetrain for cooling expansion. That brings us to the back, where Bugatti was redesigned every time at the back of the table. Perhaps the biggest improvement is the adjustable height arm that functions as an air brake when it is forward and is set at different angles for individual driving modes. The new wing is 23 percent wider than Chiron at 72 inches.
2019 Bugatti Chiron Engine
Under Divo’s cappuccino, the same quad-turbo engine, 8.0 liters, W-16 by Chiron. Bugatti did not make any changes to the engine, giving it the same power of 1,479 horsepower and 1,180 pounds of centimeters torque. A big difference comes in the high-speed department, with Divo limited to 236 mph. The idea behind Divo is what Bugatti should have used more than a decade ago. Specifically, about the same time she released Veyron. While he had a powerful horsepower rating and record high speed, Veyron sucked as a trailer. 2019 Chiron is no different. It’s still massively heavy and is just a bit faster and faster than its predecessor. And while it is often compared to hypercars from McLaren or Koenigsegg, 2019 Bugatti Chiron is not a match for the race race race.
