The 2015 BMW M5 is a high performance, 4 door luxury sedan with seating for five. Standard 2015 BMW M5 features include 19-inch wheels alloy wheels, performance tires summer suspension adjustable driver-adaptive, adaptive xenon headlights, the adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, the auto-dimming mirrors, sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power column tilt and telescopic steering wheel, leather upholstery, 16 electric sports front seats, heated front seats and memory settings, and split folding rear seats. The standard 2015 BMW M5 features include electronic Bluetooth phone iDrive electronics interface, a navigation system, voice control, rearview camera and audio connectivity, smartphone application integration, telematic services, traffic information and 16-speaker system Harman Kardon audio with six-CD changer, HD radio, an auxiliary audio jack and an iPod interface / USB.

The 2015 BMW M5 assistance Package Plus adds optional driver warning systems blind spot and lane departure; a system with collision mitigation pedestrian detection; information about the speed limit; and side and top view cameras. An Executive package adds the keyless ignition and entry, trunk lid electrically operated door-closing soft, a heated steering wheel, ventilation and massage function for the front seats, four-zone automatic climate control, rear seats heating a power rear sunshade, rear manual side window shades, a head-up display, satellite radio and three years of concierge services. A lighting package adds adaptive LED headlamps with automatic beam control. Stand-alone options include 20-inch wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, an entertainment system for rear seat, a sports exhaust system, upgraded 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen surround sound system, an entertainment system for rear seat and a camera system with night vision pedestrian detection.

New for 2015, the Competition Package brings 15 additional horses through an exhaust system freer-breathing along with special 20-inch wheels; a more aggressive tuning to address state, suspension and rear M differential; and black chrome exhaust pipes.

2015 BMW M5 Interior

Inside the 2015 BMW M5 is trimmed in leather and copious amounts of aluminum. The driver and front passenger are spoiled with splendid seats, 16-way-adjustable headrests and backrests with articulated and adjustable side bolters, making it virtually impossible to uncomfortable. Also, look as good as they feel. The steering wheel has a slightly retro look with its thin radios, but a fleshy edge, contoured makes it a joy to grip. Also new is the largest armrest storage compartment and additional chrome around the console.

BMW iDrive system continues to evolve, and it works pretty well on the 2015 BMW M5. It has a wide screen and a quality control button on the center console that together govern most of the entertainment features, climate control and navigation, and various vehicle settings. The 2015 BMW M5 comes standard with antilock disc ventilated, traction control and stability, cornering brake control, brake fade compensation, automatic brake drying and the hill launch assist brakes. It also comes with front airbags, side airbags mounted in front seats, knee protection, side curtain airbags, active head restraints on front seats and BMW Assist emergency telematics system.

The carbon ceramic brakes are a separate option, as is a system of night vision camera capable of displaying oncoming animals, objects or people that are outside the scope of the headlights.
