The Audi A4 sedan is a small charge to be all things to all people. For those seeking luxury, has a plush interior and a comfortable ride; to technology-focused customers, offering the latest technologies for connectivity and security; and enthusiasts, with the address and finely tuned tight handling, though admittedly performance mind will want to review the most powerful model Audi S4.

For the last model year, the Audi A4 gains more standard and available content for Premium and Premium Plus trim levels. Measuring 185 inches long, the current Audi A4 is 4.5 longer than the previous model and also larger than many rivals inches. This means it has a relatively roomy interior for the class, especially in the rear seat area. Audi designers also trimmed the overhangs to give the car look sportier, while the engine engineers moved more towards the center of the car in order to support the development with a weight distribution and improved driving dynamics.

The A4 is available with three trim levels: 2.0T Premium, 2.0T Premium Plus and Prestige 2.0T. The 2.0T Premium entry level model comes standard with leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control one zone, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio control buttons and cruise and a system of ten audio speakers. A system of automatic climate control three zone, xenon headlights and LED taillights are new standard, like an outside line S with a set of aggressive 18-inch wheels and RS-body design. For these characteristics, the 2.0T Premium Plus adds heated seats, Bluetooth smartphone connectivity and integration of the iPod / iPhone.

The range topping 2.0T Prestige adds a navigation system, 14 speakers, 505-watt Bang & Olufsen premium sound system, advanced key system, rear parking sensors, aadaptive xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights. Notable options include  the adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and Audi Drive Select, which offers a variety of different calibrations suspension, steering, transmission and engine.

The Audi A4 Package S line style brings 18-inch wheels of 10-spoke design, all-season tires, Audi xenon plus front lighting, dynamic range adjustment holder, LED taillights, high-gloss aluminum exterior window trim, S badgers fender line, S line bumpers, side sill leaves and frames stainless steel door with a badge of the line S. The Black optic exterior package includes black accents and 19-inch wheels Rotor-design Titanium. Two option packages are available for Premium Plus. The Technology Package brings MMI Navigation plus, Audi connect, the parking system plus and Audi side assist. It also offers a Sport package plus.

Although earlier Audi A4s offers multiple engine options, the latest model is driven solely by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. This engine produces 220 horsepower from 4300-6000 rpm and 258 lb-ft of torque between 1,500 and 4,200 rpm. Interestingly, despite having only one engine, three transmissions to choose from. The first is a manual gearbox with six speeds, good for an excursion from zero to 60 in just 6.4 seconds while returning 22 city and 30 highway miles per gallon. This, of course, is coupled to the quattro drive system sports four wheel.

Opting for the convenience of a Tiptronic eight-speed transmission will reduce fuel economy at 21 city, 29 highway, and add two tenths at time zero to 60. This model also features quattro all-wheel drive. The final choice is the CVT Multitronic transmission, which returns the best highway fuel economy of 31 mpg (city rating is 21 mpg) and slower acceleration time of three 7 1 second. This is the only transmission used FrontTrak front-wheel drive. Those looking for more grunt than Audi A4 turbo four can offer should consider the Audi S4, which features a supercharged V6 with 333 horsepower.

All Audi A4 models are equipped with dual front, side thorax and side curtain airbags, along with stability and traction control systems and electronic distribution of braking force with brake assist. Optional on Prestige-Trim models is the Audi side assist, which monitors blind spots and fast-approaching vehicles.
