2015 Audi A4
The 2015 Audi A4 is a five-passenger sedan available in three trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. The 2015 Audi A4 buyers who prefer a car can choose the Audi Allroad, which is actually a wagon version of the 2015 Audi A4. Those looking for more adrenaline emotions can opt for higher performance S4 sedan. Both are reviewed separately. The 2015 Audi A4 options include alloy wheels 18 inches, heated front seats and a navigation system with voice controls and MMI control panel mounted on the console.

The 2015 Audi A4 Premium Plus comes standard with 18-inch wheels, keyless ignition and entry, a rearview auto-dimming mirror, heated side mirrors, heated front seats and memory settings of the driver seat. Options include a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system and the Technology Package, which includes navigation, MMI, services console mounted integrated smartphone applications, connectivity, Bluetooth audio, rear view camera, one display higher resolution, front and rear parking sensors and blind spot monitoring.
The 2015 Audi A4 Prestige model achieves the Technology and Bang & Olufsen sound system as standard equipment package and adds adaptive headlights. Exclusive to the Prestige is the optional Assist driver package that adds adaptive cruise control, adaptive steering and Audi Drive Select (driver-selectable modes to throttle and transmission response fit and ride comfort settings).
Optional on both the 2015 Audi A4 Premium Plus and 2015 Audi A4 Prestige is the Sport Package, which adds an optimized performance suspension, sports front seats and Audi Drive Select. The Sport Plus package increases performance expectations with 19-inch wheels, performance tires, a sport steering wheel and glossy black exterior finish. 2015 Audi A4 Interior
With a sophisticated design, modern bordering on austere cabin 2015 Audi A4 is one of the best in its class. There is an air of adult seriousness here, enhanced by quality materials that reflect money well spent. Real leather upholstery as the standard equipment helps distinguish the A4 compared with rivals from BMW and Mercedes, which use high quality vinyl, while the 2015 Audi A4 is considered a small car entry level luxury, the interior is more akin to that of a midsize sedan. The front seat comfort is excellent, and the outer rear seats provide ample legroom and head to comfortably accommodate a typical adult.
The features entertainment and information are controlled by Audi’s MMI, which is basically a line driver surrounded by buttons that control the menus on a central display. It is an effective interface, even if some features are nested deep within the menu screens, but the command system BMW iDrive and Mercedes’ are more intuitive. It is unlikely to be an ultimatum, but have a bit of a learning curve. Also, A4s without the MMI navigation controller on the board rather than the most convenient location in the center console.
2015 Audi A4 Engine
The 2015 Audi A4 uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 220 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive and the continuously variable transmission (CVT) is standard, while all-wheel drive is also available with a six-speed manual transmission or eight-speed automatic transmission. The Audi believes that any of these variations powertrain will bring the A4 from zero to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds to 6.6, which would be the average time for this class.
Fuel economy is EPA-estimated 27 mpg combined (24 city / 32 highway) for the FWD model. All-wheel drive and manual transmission drop slightly to 26 combined (22 city / 32 highway), then more than 25 combined (22 city / 31 highway) and the automatic AWD.
2015 Audi A4 Safety
The 2015 Audi A4 comes standard with anti-lock brakes, the stability and traction control, the front side air-bags and full-length side curtain airbags. A system of blind spot alert is optional on the Premium Plus and Prestige series. Air bags in rear seats are optional on all models, while Prestige can be equipped with a system of adaptive cruise control that warns the driver and prepares the brakes if it detects an imminent collision. Front and the rear parking sensors and rearview camera are also optional. In brake testing, an Audi A4 with summer tires came to a stop from 60 mph in 108 feet. This is great, but typical for a high quality car brand with summer tires.
In government crash tests, the 2015 Audi A4 received a prefect five star in all categories, while Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the A4 the best test score, side and roof strength “good” offset in the front overlap moderately. However, 2015 Audi A4 did receive the worst rating of “poor” in the small overlap frontal crash test Compensation Institute.
