2013 Audi A6

The 2013 Audi A6 2.0T and sold in model equipped with 3.0T Premium and Premium Plus trim levels series. The 2013 Audi A6 3.0T also offers a level of Prestige finish. Standard equipment for the 2.0T Premium model includes rain-sensing wipers, heated side mirrors, LED turn signals, heated washer nozzles, automatic headlights, LED taillights and alloy wheels of 17 inches. The 2013 Audi A6 2.0T Premium includes leather seats, ambient cabin lighting, walnut wood trim, and triple-zone automatic climate control, the power moonroof, push button ignition, Audi Drive Select technology and opener universal garage door. Both front seats offer power adjustable 8-position and the driver’s seat includes 4-way power lumbar adjustment. In addition, the Audi A6 2.0T Premium is equipped with Bluetooth and an audio system with 10 speakers and satellite radio iPod connectivity.

2013 Audi A6 Features

The next level of finish in lineup, 2.0T Premium Plus offers a number of enhancements, including 18-inch aluminum, xenon headlights with LED running lights, navigation system with touch screen handwriting recognition, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera, side mirrors self-regulating system, color driver information, key-less entry Audi Advanced key, and HD Radio. This trim level also includes services Audi Connect with Google Earth images navigation, search Google, and hold mobile Wi-Fi.

For 2013, Audi is offering Quattro all-wheel drive (AWD) as an option on the 2.0T Premium and Premium Plus trim, and vehicles so equipped front seats are also heated. The A6 3.0T Premium and Premium Plus trims include 2.0T Premium and the Premium Plus equipment, plus supercharged V-6 engine, Quattro AWD, heated front seats, and upgraded brakes. At the top of the A6 lineup, the 3.0T Prestige features a sporty treat S-line exterior styling, the adaptive front lighting system, LED running lights, 4-zone automatic climate control, front seats with heating and ventilation, 630-watt premium sound system with 14 speakers, power wheel tilt / telescopic steering and LED ambient cabin lighting.

All 2013 Audi A6 models can be optioned with metallic paint, brushed aluminum or real wood interior trim, rear window sunshades, and rear air bags for side impact. Optional packages include a package Audi side assist and cold weather package. 2013 Audi A6 Premium Plus trims can be upgraded with the same set of surround sound audio quality that comes standard on Prestige trim. The 2013 Audi A6 3.0T Premium Plus and Prestige trims can be equipped with the available driver assistance package. Exclusive options for the A6 3.0T Prestige include full LED headlights, 1,300 watt Bang & Olufsen sound system, Sport Package with 20-inch wheels and performance tires summer and Innovation package. The Innovation Package adds driver package Attendance plus a head-up display system active lane assistant, night vision assistant with pedestrian detection, and  camera system along top-down view and corner views.

2013 Audi A6 Engine

The 2013 Audi A6 2.0T is equipped with a turbocharged engine generation, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder of 211 horsepower at 4,300 rpm and 258 lb-ft of torque from 1500 rpm. With front-wheel drive (FWD), this engine is combined with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). When Quattro all-wheel drive, an automatic 8-speed transmission is standard ordering. Audi claims that this model will accelerate to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds with FWD, or in 6.7 seconds with the Quattro.

The 2013 Audi A6 3.0T models are more powerful, thanks to a supercharged V-6 3.0-liter delivers 310 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 325 lb-ft of torque from 2900 rpm. Quattro is standard, and the 8-speed automatic transmission. Audi A6 3.0T says accelerates to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds. On vehicles with Quattro,  power is distributed to all four wheels, with 40% of the engine power flows to the front and 60% goes to the rear wheels. Audi drive select is standard on all 2013 Audi A6. Using a dial, the driver can adjust the steering, suspension and transmission response to one of four settings: Comfort, Dynamic or Individual. Individual enables the driver to mix and match the previous three for a more customized configuration.

2013 Audi A6 Safety

The 2013 Audi A6 is equipped with a set of 8 standard airbags, traction and stability control and 4-wheel vented disc anti-lock brakes with brake assist. Airbags for side impact for rear seat occupants are optional. Audi offers many security options for the 2013 Audi A6. Audi Side Assist system is a blind spot monitoring. It is available separately or as part of the Driver Assistance package, which also contains a system of active cruise control and Audi presense Plus. Audi presense Plus can identify when a collision is imminent and can automatically apply the brakes to try to slow or stop the 2013 Audi A6.
