2019 Aston Martin Rapide is a 4-door, 4-seat, high-voltage portal, which introduced British luxury brand Aston Martin in early 2010. Aston Martin Rapide  was presented as a drift car at the Detroit North American International Auto Show in 2006. The Rapid name is a reference to the Lagonda Rapide, a four-door salon made by Lagonda, now part of Aston Martin. The new Rapide is the company’s first 4-door fastback sedan since the Lagonda, which was discontinued in 1989. The Aston Martin Rapide 2019 is based on the Aston Martin DB9 and is supported by the VH Generation III platform.

The first cars rolled off the production line in May 2010, initially built at a dedicated factory at the Magna Steyr facility in Graz, Austria. The factory initially planned to build 2000 cars a year, but production was moved to England in 2012 after sales did not meet production targets.

The Rapide’s standard features include a tilt-telescopic steering wheel, two-point headlights and LED headlights. Leather and walnut wood carving with metallic accents; power front seats with memory, cooling, and heating systems; Bluetooth; satellite radio, with USB and iPod connection. Other standard features include a Bang & Olufsen 16 speaker system with two tweeters that rise from the dashboard over system activation.

The 2019 Rapide is powered by a V12 engine of 5.935 cc (5.9 L, 362.2 cu), a maximum power of 477 PS (351 kW, 470 hp) and 600 Nm (443 lb) torque ft) liver. The Aston Martin Rapide 2019 is rear-wheel-drive and with 6-speed Touchtronic II automatic transmission. The Rapide can reach a top speed of 303 km / h, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.2 seconds. The Rapide S received further revisions in 2015, with a new 8-speed Touchtronic III automatic transmission and power boost up to 560 PS (412 kW, 552 hp) and 630 Nm (465 lb · ft) of torque, accelerating up to followed from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.4 seconds and an increased top speed of 327 km / h (203 mph).

Aston Martin is reportedly working on an all-electric version of the Rapide. The model, Rapide, was confirmed in 2017 at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2017. The company has shown that the Rapide will be in production in the fourth quarter of 2019. The Raid is expected to compete with Porsche’s upcoming Taycan electric salon. The Rapide is powered by a 65 kWh battery provided by HyperBat Limited, a new joint venture between WAE and Unipart manufacturing group. The battery will be capable of transmitting 800-volt power. There will be installed 5,600 lithium-ion electric cells in the engine line, as well as two electric motors fitted with the Integrated Motors cartridge. Both cars will drive the car through an Xtrac transmission with a limited slip. A new suspension system will be implemented to better handle the changes in the train.

The two electric cars have a combined power output of 610 PS (602 hp) and 949 Nm (700 lb.ft) of torque. The 2019 Rapide car will have speeds of 0-97 km/h (0-60 km/h) and 80-113 km/h (50-70 km/h) in the 4.0 seconds, as well as a top speed of 155 km/h. A prototype was tested at the Nurbürgring to ensure that the car delivers linear power despite hard use.

Aston Martin uncovered the AMR version of Rapide S. The Rapide S AMR has used the same breed-inspired treatments as on the Valkyrie, DB11 and the Vantage. The 6.0-liter natural aspirated V12 engine received a power boost of 603 PS (444 kW, 595 HP) and 630 Nm (465 lb) of torque, with the approval of improved airflow to the engine and new calibration. The 8-speed automatic transmission also received a replacement for better shooting time. The car is now standard with Michelin Pilot Supersport tires and 21-inch alloy wheels, the biggest wheels ever put on an Aston Martin.

The new model features a carbon-braking system with six-piston calipers at the front and four rear piston calipers with 400 mm and 360 mm rear and rear brake pads. The car features a new front grid, “sprocket” fog lamps and side panels, rear diffuser and boot member made of carbon fiber. The 2019 Aston Martin Rapide S AMR can accelerate in 4.4 seconds from 0-97 km / h and reach a top speed of 330 km / h. The 2019 Aston Martin Rapide interior features include a One-77 steering wheel, a personalized plaque with logos and a variety of color schemes.
