The 2015 Acura ILX is entrylevel luxury sedan comes in four levels of color: 2.0, 2.0 and Premium package, 2.0 with the Technology package and 2.4 with the Premium package.  The 2015 Acura ILX standard equipment for the base 2.0 includes 17-inch wheels, a sunroofheated mirrors, full power accessories, automatic headlights, ignition and key-less entry, a tiltandtelescoping steering wheel, the leather Upholstery, an eightway power driver seat, active noise cancellation, twozone automatic climate control heated front seats, a seat-back folddown rear, to a 5-inch information display screen, rear-view camera, Bluetooth phone and audio connections, and a sevenspeaker sound system with a CD player, a USB / iPod audio interface radio Pandora smartphone app to combine.

The 2015 Acura ILX come with 2.0 the Premium package and 2.4 with the Premium package include the services listed above and add xenon lights, fog-lights, satellite radio and an autodimming rear view mirror.  The 2.0 Technology package (available on 2.4) includes all the features of the Premium package along with a timetable showing the slightly larger, voice commands, AcuraLink, GPSlinked climate control and 10speaker Els surround- sound audio system.

2015 Acura ILX Interior

Inside , the 2015 Acura ILX well built, but the materials are not really step up from the top of the sedans nonluxury. Similarly, the general design features hightech Vibe Acura, but it‘s nowhere near as expensive as the A3 classy. Getting the amount of pleasure aspects, however. There is a 5-inch display screen topping the center stack for a host of infotainment functions, and smartly placed buttons and control knobs. Rear seat folds down easily with the long, but the seat-back is not split to allow a mix of cargo and a passenger or two in the back seat.

Powering the 2015 Acura ILX is a 2.0liter four-cylinder engine with 150 hp and 140 poundfeet of torque. The transmission offered is a automatic fivespeed that sends its power to front wheels. In performance testing, this powertrain brought ILX from zero to 60 Mph in 9 seconds. That ratio for compact economy car, but slow for a compact sedan wearing a badge premium. Fuel economy is the name at 28 mpg combined (24 city / 35 highway).

The 2015 Acura ILX 2.4 and the Premium package comes with a 2.4liter 4-cylinder engine that‘s rated at 201 hp and 170 LBft. A sixspeed manual is only transmission available. In performance testing, the Acura ILX 2.4 from zero to 60 Mph in 7.1 seconds. This is still slower than many sedans entrylevel luxury with the engine or a regular midsize sedans with improved four-cylinder or V6 engine. Fuel economy ratings at 25 mpg combined (22 city / 31 highway).

2015 Acura ILX Safety

The 2015 Acura ILX comes standard with anti-lock brakes, stability and traction controlside curtain airbags and front-seat side airbags, and active front head restraints. Rear-view camera standard, but a useful safety features like blind-area monitoring system warning and lanewalking are not available.
