The 2013 Acura ZDX is a midsize sedan that is offered in a single trim level with seating for five. Standard features include ninteen-inch wheels, the automatic xenon headlights, front and rear parking sensors, a power lift-gate, fog lights, electrically folding exterior mirrors with heating and a panoramic sunroof.  Inside 2013 Acura ZDX, is key-less ignition / entry, a rear view auto-dimming mirror, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, sliding and telescopic steering wheel, memory settings for driver and eight-way power heated front seats and ventilation. The Electronic features include the camera, Bluetooth, a navigation system, satellite radio, voice controls and an audio system with 10 speakers with CD player, an auxiliary audio input and a USB / iPod interface.

2013 Acura ZDX Interior

Acura has a solid reputation for the quality of the interior materials and assembly, and the 2013 Acura ZDX is an example of why: The interior of the ZDX is an excellent blend of soft, fresh and high technology oriented material surfaces, all meticulously assembled . The overall look is not the traditional luxury car, yet profound oozes quality. The center console houses the gear selector sharply divided into two front seats cocooning areas shaped tub. The upper dash knob containing audio controls / navigation seems a bit outdated, and therefore seems to be out of sync with the rest of the high tech interior of the 2013 Acura ZDX.

Those in the front have a great view, and comfort of the front seats support the 2013 Acura ZDX abounds, but thanks to the sloping roof line, those in the back – and it really should be a maximum of two occupants – are less fortunate. Headroom and legs are scarce, despite seat cushions that are low on the ground and not particularly comfortable.  Despite its hatchback body orientation and crossover, the 2013 Acura ZDX does not provide the utility that you might expect from a conventional intersection. With the rear seats up, there is a relatively small number of 26 cubic feet of cargo space available; once again, blame the heavily sloping roof. The fall of the rear seats for the ZDX a two-seater and a maximum cargo space to a modest improvement still 56 cubic feet, far less than the midsize SUV conventional luxury.

2013 Acura ZDX Engine

The 2013 Acura ZDX is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 that generate 300 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. The six-speed automatic with manual shift control is the only transmission available. In recent tests, the ZDX accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 7.3 seconds, which is about one slower than the BMW X5 or X6 second. Fuel economy estimated by EPA stands at 16 mpg highway city / 23 mpg and 19 mpg combined.

2013 Acura ZDX Safety

Standard safety equipment for the 2013 Acura ZDX includes antilock disc brakes, stability and the traction control, side airbags in front seats, the full-length side curtain airbags and active front headrests. They are also standard warning forward-collision and warning systems, lane departure, although the functions of blind spot monitoring and collision mitigation ex of the 2013 Acura ZDX are gone, as is the adaptive cruise control to activate the collision mitigation system.

In government crash tests, the Acura ZDX received a higher overall score of five out of five stars, with 4 stars for overall frontal crash protection and five stars for overall side impact protection. Insurance Institute for Highway Safety awarded the ZDX its highest score of good in frontal-offset, side impact and roof strength crash tests. In brake testing, the 2013 Acura ZDX stopped from 60 mph in 130 feet, which is longer than the average for cars in this class.
