Toyota Signs on as IPC Worldwide Paralympic Partner

In Tokyo, Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announced that it has signed an official sponsorship agreement with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) to serve as a Sponsor Worldwide Paralympic Partner through 2024, including the Tokyo Paralympic Games. The announcement was attended by IPC President Sir Philip Craven and TMC President Akio Toyoda, and representatives of the various Paralympic teams.

The Worldwide Paralympic Partner represents the highest tier global funding available for the Paralympic Games. Corporate sponsors to support both the summer and winter Paralympic events and related activities around the world. The agreement signed by the TMC and includes participation in all National Paralympic Committees around the world, ranging from 2017 through 2024.

2016-2024 (Sponsorship rights apply only to Japan in 2016. Global rights begin in 2017)
