Michelin Aston Martin Le Mans this year’s Festival will offer more than 250,000 More fans with the opportunity to see first-hand more Aston Martin race cars side-by-side on the Circuit de la Sarthe ever before. The 45-event, which takes place on the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit on the same day as the start of a 24-hour race, will allow fans to hear scream of Aston Martin DBR1-2, the roar of the Le Mans-winning Aston Martin DBR9, and enjoy the wars in GTE, GT3 and GT4 classes.
Aston Martin Racing Programmes Customer Manager Andrew Williamson said: “There are very few manufacturers that can fill a grid with such a wide range of race cars, from LMP1 to GT4s. Aston Martin Racing has been designing and building cars in the class-winning in the last 11 years and saw many of them here in one place reminds us of each model has been successful”.
Highlights include wild race-inspired Aston Martin Vantage GT12 driven by the company and Dr. Andy Palmer, and the festival will also have a race is the first new Beechdean AMR Vantage GTE team-owner Andrew Howard to take the wheel.
