2013 Cadillac CTS Coupe Interior
Like the 2013 Cadillac CTS Sedan, the interior of the 2013 Cadillac CTS Coupe has a nice angular theme to coincide with the outside nervousness. Soft-touch materials are abundant wood trim accented by tasteful. The optional navigation system emerges from the top of the board and retracts almost completely, leaving the small section visible as a touchscreen for the audio system – a smart and stylish alternative to having a separate control panel solution. Cadillac deftly provides redundant control knob to scroll through menus iPod or satellite radio, as I do with a touch screen interface can be frustrating and annoying.
Unfortunately, the interior also comes with a lot of defects. Outward rear visibility is notably poor, forcing the driver to trust the optional rear view camera when maneuvering in reverse. Overall comfort is hampered by awkward driving position, plus the backups are flat and rigid. Rear seat passengers must deal not only with the lack of headroom, but direct exposure to solar heating through large piece of glass above. To make matters worse, the limited headroom in the front seat in this car is further compromised by the optional sunroof.
2013 Cadillac CTS Coupe trunk space is a smallish 10.5 cubic feet, and the narrow opening requires some imagination when it comes to packing of large, bulky items. Great gooseneck tailgate hinges also range quite far down in space, threatening to crush any fragile thing that could be on your way.
