The Audi TTS Roadster is based on elegant convertible Audi TT to increase production to 265 horsepower, which incorporates a standard adaptive suspension and the addition of more aggressive veneer. The changes fail to transform the Roadster sports car, but it should nevertheless be attractive for those looking for a fast convertible with a well-equipped cabin and plenty of style. Buyers who are not looking for convertible motoring can opt for the Audi TTS Coupe. The Audi TTS earns an optional competition package for the latest model year.

Audi TTS Roadster, using progressive, modern Bauhaus art movement in Germany as a starting point, the designers created a spirit of Audi convertible, like the original Audi TT incorporates arches and flowing to create a unique, timeless way. Instead of trendy retractable hardtop but heavy used by some of its rivals, the Audi TTS Roadster uses a folding top which saves weight and can feed itself in 15 seconds.

Inside, the Audi TTS Roadster Audi maintains a reputation for finely huts made with a simple control panel but stylish and high quality materials throughout. Vestigial rear seats of the coupe were lost in the transition between the hard and convertible roof – not much there, only I would volunteer to sit in such a tight space. Power comes from a tuned version of venerable 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged direct injection of the VW Group. Exclusive dance partners power-plant include quattro four-wheel drive and Audi dual-clutch automatic transmission with six gears. The setup is able to complete the benchmark sprint just 5.1 seconds.

Fuel economy is rated at 22 city and 31 mpg highway. The damping system Audi magnetic ride tech is standard. In this system, small magnetic particles in the oil circulating inside the cushions. When voltage is applied to them, the damping characteristics are altered within milliseconds. This adaptation system promises improved levels of ride comfort and handling, although it does not turn on the Audi TTS Roadster into a true performance machine.

The Audi TTS Roadster comes standard with sports seats in leather / alcantara heated and electrically adjustable, 12 speakers, 255-watt AM FM CD system / sound / Sirius XM Bose with AUX and USB inputs to a single zone climate control automatic, Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones, xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, one flat-bottomed multifunction steering wheel wrapped in leather with shift paddles, LED interior lighting and alloy wheels 18 inches.

Options include heated Nappa leather sport seats, a navigation system with traffic updates in real time, a CD changer and six-disc ultrasonic rear parking assist system. The package adds a carbon front splitter and rear diffuser. The Black optic exterior trim package includes stygian and alloy wheels of 15-spoke 19-inch titanium-finish. Finally, the new Competition Package brings black brake calipers, a fixed rear spoiler, special alloy wheels model and leather seats with contrasting stitching. Cars equipped with the Competition Package can only be ordered in Imola Yellow or Nimbus Gray.
